Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of two well-known figures in the music industry, the late Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, reportedly woke up from her medically-induced coma but remains unresponsive. Her 46-year-old R&B singer father gave a vague remark about her condition, commenting that she was “awake”, which he later elaborated.

According to US Magazine, Brown said his daughter was "watching" him last Saturday, April 18, during his concert in Dallas, Texas. He attributed the blessings to God's grace and undying love. Fans roared in excitement over the supposed recovery, although later on the remark seemed triggered by a sudden outburst of emotions.

To clarify this earlier comment, Brown released an official statement shortly after. His lawyer gave out the details, confirming that his daughter has gotten better following her transfer from Emory University Hospital to a long term rehabilitation facility.

According to People, Atty. Christopher Brown wrote in the statement: "Doctors have indicated that she will have a long life. However, Bobbi Kristina is presently embarking on a rehabilitation process and the quality of her life will not be known for years to come."

The 22-year-old TV personality was found submerged face down and unconscious in her Georgia house bathtub three months earlier, January 31st, and was thereafter placed in life support. Her prognosis, up until now, had not been cleared up, The Toronto Sun reported.

Despite the news, the road to her recovery remains a long and winding one. Since her confinement, she had undergone a variety of tests to determine the exact cause of the incident. Her late mother was found in a similar fashion in her bathtub before eventually dying of drug overdose. So far, the police haven't found evidence of substance abuse in their investigation, and the family remains mum about what caused the incident.
