Bobbi Kristina Health Update: Cissy Houston Confirms Rehab Move, Accepts Grim Reality Granddaughter Will Not Recover
Cissy Houston said her granddaughter Bobbi Kristina Brown may not likely recover anymore. The ailing grandmother also confirmed that Bobbi had been moved to a rehabilitation facility.
In an exclusive interview with New York’s WBLS, Grandma Cissy said that although the family continues to pray for Whitney Houston's daughter, they also believe that recovery seems unlikely. Cissy also said that she is imploring everyone to pray for Bobbi’s recovery as well. I give it to God one time, because I know he's able, and I cannot change a thing,” Cissy said. "So I'm asking everyone to pray to the Lord, who we know can do something about it.” The grandmother also said she leaves everything to God if a miracle would happen and Bobbi recovers. If not, she will be fine with it as well.
The grandmother is not the only one who is starting to see the grim reality that Bobbi would possibly not recover anymore. Earlier, when news broke out that Bobbi has been moved from Emroy University hospital to a rehab center in Atlanta, sources told People that the family already planned to do so way earlier but Bobby Brown still had hopes that Bobbi would recover so he delayed the decision. The source said that even though Bobby had a lot of time to get used to his daughter’s conditions, not seeing any improvements is taking a toll on him.
The rest of the family meanwhile, just let Bobby decide on all things concerning Bobbi. The source said that the family and Bobby do not always agree on what should be done with Bobbi, but they let Bobby take charge. There were also rumours that Pat Houston, Bobbi Kristina's aunt, usually tries to argue with Bobby and the two would butt heads. But a source denied these rumours with People, saying the family is united during this trying period.
Even though the family tried to keep positive as possible that a miracle would happen, they are starting to feel “reality sinking in.” The family source added that during the first month, everyone was in shock, but as time passes, they are starting to get used to what is happening to Bobbi.
