Bobbi Kristina Brown Health Update: Bobbi Moved From Emory Hospital To A Rehab Facility 'Suited For Long-Term Care'
Bobbi Kristina Brown has been moved to a rehabilitation facility in Atlanta which is “suited for long-term care,” new reports say. The daughter of the late singer Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown had earlier been treated at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta. There is no improvement in her condition.
The 22-year-old has been in a medically induced coma after being found unresponsive in January and spent more than a month at the Emory University Hospital. But CNN now reports that she has been transferred to a rehab facility. The website did not give more details on the reason why she was shifted there.
According to TMZ, doctors at the Emory tried to remove her life support system to see if she responds positively, but she did not. The new rehab facility is equipped in a better way to treat people for a longer time, adds the website. The only daughter of late singer Whitney has been in the same non-responsive state for more than a month. Bobbi's breathing tube was moved from her throat to her neck a few weeks ago, said the website. TMZ has also published pictures of Bobby Brown and Pat Houston carrying the belongings of Bobbi to the new rehab.
According to CNN, the police is treating Bobbi's case as a criminal investigation ever since she was found face-down and unresponsive in her bathtub at her Alpharetta home. The suspect in the case, according to the members of the family, is Bobbi's boyfriend Nick Gordon, People magazine writes. Gordon also wrote on Twitter that he gave artificial respiration to Bobbi for “ten minutes” after he discovered her in that condition. Gordon is not allowed to meet her in the hospital by Bobbi's father Brown and he had pleaded publicly on Twitter to let him see his girlfriend.
Gordon also appeared on the famous chat show of Dr. Phil where he became emotionally charged and cried remembering his girlfriend. “I miss Krissi and Whitney so much! I want them back,” said Gordon during the televised interview with Dr. Phil on his show. The couple reportedly had an argument before Bobbi was found in that condition, his mother Michelle Gordon told Dr. Phil on the show. Gordon went to sleep in a separate bedroom following the argument, she added. Gordon has reportedly checked himself into a rehabilitation centre after the interview.
