‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ spoilers for Feb. 1: Thomas blows his top over latest change in Forrester Creations; an ugly family war is on the horizon

It’s going to be an explosive day for the Forrester family on the upcoming episode of “The Bold and Beautiful” (“B&B”). On Wednesday, Thomas (Pierson Fode) completely loses it after being told that Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will be co-CEOs of the company.

Thomas already feels that he’s been robbed of the position, despite being the first-born son. Now that Ridge will also be taking over, Thomas’ hatred may drive him to strike back at his family. Other “The Bold and the Beautiful” characters who will figure prominently on the Feb. 1 installment include Liam (Scott Clifton) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).

TV Guide reports that on Wednesday’s episode of “B&B,” Liam continues to have his misgivings about Quinn (Rena Sofer) after finding out that she’s behind Ridge’s new position in Forrester Creations. Thomas, on the other hand, is infuriated to discover that his dad and sister will share leadership in the family business. The show’s official YouTube channel posted a preview video for the Feb. 1 episode. It features scenes with Steffy, Liam and Thomas.

In the first scene, Steffy expresses her worries about her dad and brother. “They don’t work well together – my dad isn’t the issue,” she tells Liam. When he asks who, Steffy mutters, “Thomas.” She continues by reminding Liam that Thomas wanted the CEO slot. “He didn’t get it, and now he’s been passed over again,” she says.

Speaking of Thomas, he’s completely outraged after he learns about another change in Forrester Creations. “I tell you a mature decision – Quinn making Steffy a CEO as a match-making ploy,” he sputters. “That’s a mature decision!” Later, he reveals, “It’s time for me to look out for my future.”

On Tuesday, Thomas complained to Zende (Rome Flynn) about what’s going on in Forrester Creations – while he was away, sorting out his life, his sister Steffy was appointed as the company’s CEO. The two men also talked about Zende, who wants to fix his relationship with Nicole (Reign Edwards). When Zende left, a friendly woman – whom later was revealed as Sally Spectra – tried to lift his spirits and offered him a drink. She asked him about his problem, and he shared about his family issues.

Elsewhere, Eric (John McCook) told Quinn and Ridge about his trip to Genoa City. Their discussion shifted to the controversial CEO position. Eric reckoned having both Steffy and Ridge as the company’s leader would be what’s best for Forrester Creations. Ridge thanked Eric, who told him he owed it to Quinn. Later, Ridge told Steffy about what happened. He assured her that they’ll be a team and it’s not a step-down for her. Steffy found out Quinn was behind this change, and while surprised, she said she’d be honoured to share the title with her dad. Ridge then called Thomas, asking him to come to the office.
