‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ spoilers for Feb. 2: New villain makes her presence felt; Brooke grills Ridge about Quinn

Tough questions and intense confrontations come into play on the upcoming episode of “The Bold and Beautiful” (“B&B”). On Thursday, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) returns, full of questions about Ridge’s (Thorsten Kaye) plans to get rid of Quinn (Rena Sofer).

When Ridge tells her that things didn’t go as expected, Brooke will be rightfully suspicious. It’s possible that she’ll notice the changed dynamics between him and Quinn, and Katie (Heather Tom) may also tell Brooke about what the intimate moment she saw before. Other “The Bold and the Beautiful” characters who will figure prominently on the Feb. 2 installment include Liam (Scott Clifton), Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Eric (John McCook), Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), Shirley (Patrika Darbo) and CJ (Mick Cain).

TV Guide reports that on Thursday’s episode of “B&B,” Steffy questions Quinn, demanding the reason behind her change of heart toward Ridge. Speaking of interrogations, Brooke arrives home from Italy and asks Ridge about the progress of his plans to eliminate Quinn from their lives. The show’s official YouTube channel posted a preview video for the Feb. 2 episode. It features scenes with Sally, CJ, Brooke, Ridge, Quinn, Eric and Steffy.

Sally opens the clip as he tells CJ, “We promised Aunt Sally that we’re going to give this place another shot and you agreed to rent it to me.” Later, she says, “Not only are we preserving these weathered walls, we are saving the Spectra family legacy.”

Brooke also figures in the trailer as she checks in on Ridge about his previous plans. “Before I left you said you had a plan to get her out of the office, out of the company,” she reminds him. “Any success?” Quinn wraps the video as she explains to Steffy, “I did this for Eric to show commitment and unity and to help bring the family together.”

On Wednesday, Ridge informed Thomas (Pierson Fode) about the changes at Forrester Creations. Ridge announced that Eric assigned him to share the CEO position with Steffy. As expected, Thomas didn’t take this well, claiming that Quinn’s plan of making Steffy CEO was a matchmaking ploy. Ridge tried to appease him, but Thomas continued to be outraged. Thomas said he’s happy for his dad, but it’s time for him to look out for his own future. Elsewhere, Steffy also talked to Liam (Scott Clifton) about Eric’s decision. She expressed her concerns about Thomas, who already felt like he was passed over before. Liam comforted her and assured her that she and Ridge would make a great team.

Meanwhile, Sally received a call from her aunt to proceed with their plans to save the Spectra Fashions building, which is about to be demolished. After their conversation, her grandmother arrived and told her they’re going to the building. Once they arrived, they were in awe of the place, with Sally claiming that it’s like her aunt never left. CJ then appeared and said that while he hates to let the office go, he wants to sell it. Sally argued with him and he relented, agreeing to rent it out to her for six months. If after that Sally fails to revive the business, he’ll sell it. Sally agreed, determined to bring back Spectra Fashions to its old glory.
