‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ spoilers for Feb. 9: Brooke goes behind Katie’s back and stirs the pot; Steffy issues a dire warning

Trouble appears to be brewing again among the Forrester clan on the next episode of “The Bold and Beautiful” (“B&B”). On Thursday, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) seems to be up to mischief when she talks to Katie (Heather Tom). Brooke hopes to fish some information from her sister and make Katie admit that she has feelings for Eric (John McCook).

It’s not clear what Brooke is trying to achieve – perhaps she’s trying to distract herself from the confusion she’s feeling between Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Bill (Don Diamont). Other “The Bold and the Beautiful” characters who will figure prominently on the Feb. 9 installment include Quinn (Rena Sofer), Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Thomas (Pierson Fode) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).

TV Guide reports that on Thursday’s episode of “B&B,” Brooke demands the truth from her sister, questioning Katie’s feelings for a married man. Eric, on the other hand, witnesses Quinn’s vulnerable side when she admits her insecurity about their relationship. The show posted a preview video for the Feb. 9 episode [watch below]. It features multiple scenes with Brooke, Katie, Eric, Sally and Steffy.

On the first scene, Brooke wonders to Katie, “Are you starting to see Eric as maybe more than just a friend?” Katie tries to dispel her sister’s suspicions. “Just because I think Quinn is a menace, or at the very least a wild card, it doesn’t mean that I’m after her husband,” Katie says. Later, Brooke reports to Eric, “Don’t tell her I told you this, but I think she’s developing a crush on you.” Elsewhere, the media turns their attention to Sally, asking her to introduce herself. Steffy and her family watch from afar, muttering, “I would tear that red hair out.”

On Wednesday, Wyatt informed Steffy that he’s resigning from Forrester Creations, as part of his efforts to move on with his life. He then headed to his dad’s office to tell him the same. Wyatt said it’s just too difficult for him to be around Steffy during this time. Bill commended him for his decision and welcomed him back at Spencer.

When Wyatt left Forrester, Thomas arrived and Steffy invited him for lunch. It wasn’t long before Sally tracked her down at Il Giardino. Steffy was talking to Thomas about his issues the other day when Sally, along with the other Spectra family members, appeared. Sally told Steffy that Spectra is on its way back to the fashion industry map. Steffy ignored her, but Sally exerted efforts to be noticed, such as dropping a piece of cake on Steffy’s lap and spilling water on her. Sally succeeded in provoking Steffy and a food fight ensued, much to the delight of Thomas.
