As promised to fans, Gearbox Software has released the latest trailer for "Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel" and from the looks of the scenes, it's all act-now-think-later as can be the usual strategy in "Borderlands."

Promising low gravity (not surprising since the setting is the moon), crazy new vehicles, moon monsters and even a dance beat on the moon care of Harmonix (check out Wilhelm the Enforcer's very manly moves).

Expect explosions, trigger-happy moves and all the craziness that you can expect from a "Borderlands" franchise. Apart from the trailer, Gearbox Software has already announced the preorder freebie, which is the Shock Drop Slaughter Pit, which can be accessed at release:

"Enter the Shock Drop Slaughter Pit and face off against the toughest Scavs on Pandora's moon, Elpis! Survive the battle and you'll be feared and respected by the few left alive... not to mention the experience and gear you'll earn!"

The game is developed by 2K Australia and Gearbox Software, and slated to release on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC come October 14 for North America and October 17 in remaining areas.

"It's incredibly exciting that an all-new 'Borderlands' experience is as close as this October," said Randy Pitchford, Gearbox Software president, in an interview with Strategy Informer. "If you've played any of the 'Borderlands' games or if you have a friend who hasn't yet, the opportunity to blast off as a new set of playable characters in a whole new campaign experience, including shooting and looting on the moon, is just around the corner."

Wilhelm the Enforcer Detailed with Skills

As a teaser for the "Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel," IGN has an exclusive on one of the playable characters in the game, Wilhelm the Enforcer. An interesting aspect in Wilhelm is that he comes with two drones, Wolf and Saint, which both acts as help for the character.

An even more beautiful mechanic here is that the two have very unique capabilities that basically complement each other. Wolf is more for the offensive angle, wherein he hails down the firing squad on opponents and acts as another weapon following Wilhelm. On the other hand, Saint is more on the healer type, where he replenishes Wilhelm's health and acts as a shield.

As usual, skill tree allows for upgrades for Wolf and Saint, examples of which include Venom Bolts for corroding enemies and Omega Strike for firing missile strikes on occasion.
