Filipino boxing champ Manny Pacquiao opted not to dignify the "Miss Pac Man" post of rival Floyd Mayweather Jr on Instagram and Twitter wherein Money May included old photos of Pacquiao's loss to Mexican boxer Juan Manuel Marquez.

Asked by ABS-CBN on Sunday at the dedication rite for Pacquiao's youngest son Israel, for a comment on Mayweather's reaction to Pacquiao's previous tweet slamming Money May for "faked" scenes on All Access, the Filipino congressman could have unwittingly opened more wounds for Money May to retaliate.

That is because he said such rants from Mayweather, who "acts like an uneducated person" does not deserve a response. Mayweather has also been on the defensive side over his lack of education and inability to read, although he insisted that as a professional boxer, he does not need to read as flawlessly as a newsreader.

However, while Pacquiao is dismissing Mayweather's attempt to further flare their rivalry, he said he is not taking next opponent, American boxer Chris Algieri lightly. Their bout is scheduled on Nov 22 in Macau.

"I'm not taking Algieri lightly. He's taller than me and moves the ring with savvy. That's why I started my training early," Pacquiao told Boxing Scene.

Buboy Fernandez, trainer of Pacquiao, said because Algieri uses the ring well and often leans on the ropes, they are coming up with a strategy to counter it by focusing on that gameplan and improving further Pacquiao's technique and footwork.

Mayweather had actually called Pacquiao "Miss Pacman" two years ago, while Pacquiao first called Money May uneducated three weeks ago.
