Huang, a Chinese bride, mistakenly had intimate encounter with Ruan, groomsman of her newly wed husband Wu when she ended up removing her clothes in the 'other' bed. Global Times of China reported the bride returned to the wrong room after she had gone to the bathroom in an outhouse on the first night with her husband.

The marriage was held in Napo County, Guangxi. When she woke up she realized she slept with the wrong person. She apparently yelled for help as she accused the groomsman of raping her.

The couple filed a rape case against Ruan. Witnesses of the incident said 20,000 yuan (about $3,500) was the compensation for the alleged rape. Ruan refused to pay for two specific reasons. First, he did not accept that he had done anything wrong on his part. Second, he had no money to pay the couple.

They reported the matter to the authorities. Huang was found blushing in the court when she disclosed what actually happened. But the court had a different perspective about the issue. The court acquitted Ruan of the rape charges.

It was found it was Huang's mistake to perceive Ruan was her newly wed husband and it was a consexual sex.
