Kate Middleton was rumoured to give birth to her second child on April 25. However, the Duchess of Cambridge’s pregnancy drags on. According to Britain’s Dr. Hilary Jones, the royal couple could do something to rush the birth of baby no. 2 and that’s to have sex.

Among the topic of discussion in the recent episode of Good Morning Britain was the much-anticipated birth of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s second child. Kate Middleton was reported to have been due mid-to-end of April. But as there are no signs of the Duchess giving birth just yet, Dr. Hilary Jones took to live television to give a suggestion on how the royal couple could hasten the birth process. According to Metro UK, Jones advised that Kate Middleton and Prince William should consider having sex despite the Duchess being pregnant.

“The other thing I should mention at the risk of going to the Tower is sex and monarchy in the same sentence,’ he said.

Dr. Jones further continued to explain what love making can do to the birth of a baby. “Actually having sex, if any woman wanted to at that stage in pregnancy, it does actually help because what the man delivers is prostaglandins, which are the same sort of hormones used to induce birth,” he added.

Host Susanna Reid was reportedly left squirming and blushing on her seat at the doctor’s suggestion. While co-host Ben Shepard could only laugh out loud together with the studio audience.

Kate Middleton is expected to give birth to royal baby no. 2 at the private Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital in London. The area has been prepped with security to ensure the Duchess of Cambridge’s safety during delivery. According to Mirror UK, police sniffer dogs have been added to secure the location, while helicopters hover above.

Royal aides had previously told The Daily Telegraph that the Duchess of Cambridge could decide to go back to her parents’ home in Bucklebury, in Berkshire England, if her pregnancy drags on. It’s believed she may also go to Anmer Hall, raising speculation she may not give birth to her second child in London.
