Brody Jenner Says The Kardashians Are Not His Family Anymore
With his father Caitlyn Jenner and Kris Jenner’s divorce, Brody Jenner does not see any reason why he should consider the Kardashian sisters, Kim, Khloe and Kourtnery still his family. On a recent interview, he made it clear that the Kardashians and Jenners are two completely different families, and he really does not care about what is happening with the Kardashians anymore.
Speaking with Yahoo Style, Brody admitted that he never really been a doting “uncle” to Kim’s daughter, North. He did not get her a present when she was born in 2013 for one. He does not plan on getting any for the second baby on the way either. He said this is because he never really forged any close relationship with Kim Kardashian or her husband, Kanye West. His exact words were , “I don’t really know them.”
He explained that to be honest, he does not know Kanye West that well. Even though he personally wanted to give a gift to North when she was born and the new baby boy, he also did not act on that desire. He said people always like to lump his family, the Jenners with the Kardashians together, but they need to see that they live “two completely separate lives.” He said that it has become even more interesting now, how people still lump their families together even when Caitlyn and Kris already divorced. Technically for him, the Kardashians are not his family anymore.
He was quick to clarify that there is no bad blood between him and the Kardashians. When it comes to his half sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner though, Brody said he is one proud older brother of the two because they were able to accomplish so much at a young age and it had been “fun” to watch them.
While he does not have a tight relationship with the Kardashians, he did have something to say about Kourtney’s alleged split with Scott. He told USA Today that when he saw the pictures of Scott and his ex-girlfriend being cozy in Monte Carlo, he knew trouble would be brewing soon enough. He has nothing bad to say against Scott though because for him, Scott obviously had some issues in the past and worked through them.
