'I Get Along Better With Caitlyn Than I Did With Bruce' Says Brody Jenner

Brody Jenner admits that he gets along a lot better with Caitlyn Jenner than her former self. He reveals that he never really got along with his father while she was living as Bruce. Now that she’s living as a woman, Brody gushes over her new attitude and their relationship has been stronger.

"I've known Bruce for a long time and I didn't really get along with Bruce. Caitlyn I get along with a little more, because Caitlyn is actually who she really is and she's living her life finally now as the person that she always was," said Brody. E! News caught up with him on Tuesday while he was attending the launch of the SpyChatter mobile app in Los Angeles.

Brody echoed what many other members of the Kardashian-Jenner family have been saying. He described Caitlyn as a happier person since making her transition. He also said that he can see that Caitlyn is now free and her decision to live openly as a woman is “incredible” and “historical.”

There have been reports about a feud brewing between Caitlyn’s older children and the Kardashian-Jenner brood. Brody showed no sign of animosity towards his step-siblings and half-siblings during the interview. In the past, he had been openly hostile towards Kris Jenner on episodes of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.”

He cited some resentment towards Caitlyn for being an absentee father for many years. In the Diane Sawyer interview and in the E! special about her transition, Caitlyn revealed that much of her parenting and relationship mistakes in his marriages were due to her conflicted sexual identity.

Now that the truth is out, it appears that Brody is finally mending his relationship with Caitlyn. Could his renewed family life be getting him ready to pop the question? He’s been very vocal about his affections for his girlfriend Kaitlynn Carter and E! News couldn’t help but ask about his future plans.

Brody agreed that it’s a good idea but he said that the ring will come out at the right time. He spoke about his girlfriend’s successful blog and his own busy schedule. Incidentally, both Brody and Caitlyn will be premiering new shows this month.

Brody’s new talk show “Sex With Brody” starts airing on July 10 at 10:30 pm EST. Meanwhile, Caitlyn’s docu-series “I Am Cait” starts airing on July 26 at 9:00 pm EST. Both shows will be aired on E!.
