Ahead of the highly anticipated exclusive interview with Diane Sawyer, Bruce Jenner has been the subject of several headlines. The public has been observing some transformations in the former Olympian’s appearance and speculations have risen that he is transitioning into a woman. While there is no absolute certainty to this possibility until the interview is aired, the numerous reports implying his transition has sent millions in shock including his high school sweetheart, Michelle Rosenthal.

Inside Edition’s Megan Alexander was able to track down Jenner’s high school girlfriend and prom date. She asked Rosenthal about her reaction to the recent reports about her former flame and she could not help but express her disbelief.

"I would have never thought that in a million years from knowing him from high school.” she said. She also said that when the reports started coming out in the papers, she believes that everyone who knew Jenner from his younger years in school were shocked.

Rosenthal even described prom night with the star athlete. “We danced close. We did kiss. He seemed to enjoy it." she explained. Incidentally, Ms. Rosenthal is not the only woman that Jenner enjoyed being close to. He has been married three times and is a father to six children. He is also the step-father of the wildly famous Kardashian siblings through his most recent marriage to Kris (Houghton-Kardashian) Jenner. They were married for 23 years before separating in mid-2013.

While Kris has previously denied that her ex-husband is a gay transgender, his ex-girlfriend is more open to the idea despite her initial shock. She says that she hopes Jenner will find happiness in doing what he really wants.

The much anticipated interview with Diane Sawyer is expected to be a tell-all interview that will discuss the matter once and for all among other things concerning Jenner’s life. There is no real confirmation that he will come out as a transgender in the interview but the promo video shared by E Online only states that Jenner said: “My whole life has been getting me ready for this.”

While this statement could relate to his "coming out party," he could also be referring to a number of other possible developments in his life. All will be revealed when “Bruce Jenner: The Interview” airs on April 24 at 9/8c on ABC.
