The 2014 Call of Duty has finally been revealed, and it features quite the number of highlights. First off, the new game coming from Sledgehammer Games has already been titled as Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.

Here are some of the things that you need to know about the upcoming COD game.

Two studios will be in charge of creating the game

Earlier this year, it was announced that Sledgehammer Games will be in charge of the next iteration of Call of Duty. However, it may be that Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is a pretty big installment because it will take two studios to create the game.

GameSpot reports that Activision has already announced the split creation of the game, with Sledgehammer Games in charge of the Xbox One, PS4, and PC version. A separate studio, which will be named at a later date, will be doing the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions.

It's the same treatment that Titanfall gave its next-gen and current-gen versions, and since there doesn't seem to be any complaint on the quality of either one, hopefully the same can be said for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.

"Advanced" and photorealistic world of war coming

Activision has also announced previously the three-year cycle that the Call of Duty franchise will follow from now on.

After the teaser web site that has counted down to the reveal of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, a new trailer has been released on the official Call of Duty web site, as well as the creation of a web site dedicated to Advanced Warfare, touting the tagline "Power changes everything."

In the official web site, there are already hints of the world of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, where the setting is a future of technological progress and the domination of private military corporations.

Even the soldiers are more advanced for this imagined future, as they will make use of exoskeletons to enable soldiers to do better and more efficient battling, the use of a more diverse gameplay other than just shooting guns as there will be more vertical movement in the form of jumps and grapples, and soldier's strength, speed and endurance will be taken into account.

According to the site, this factor will be a gameplay changer for Call of Duty, as it will give soldiers more freedom to deal with terrain and battle tactics. Add to this the more advanced arsenal, like hoverbikes and directed-energy ammunition, which will, again, supposedly bring in a new kind of gameplay dynamics.

Kevin Spacey looks and plays the bad guy

Alongside the official reveal, you have the official trailer already outed, and it features quite the bad guy Kevin Spacey (who takes on the role of Jonathan Irons) talking about democracy-and the lack of capability for democracy.

Hints include wars with a religious streak, the war between rules, protection against chaos, and the bad guy Spacey's ambition of being that guy who becomes the leader that everyone will follow.

In the trailer, you can see the great graphics and even greater detail of the game-just look at that Spacey rendition and you'll know what that means. As far as Spacey's role is concerned with this whole power struggle thing, The Verge reports that he will be the game's main antagonist as a rogue commander of a private military corporation.

It should also be noted that the entire trailer is captured from Xbox One.

Release date and preorders details

If all of those teasers are not yet enough, preorders for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is already up over at GameStop, and doing so will already give you extra content.

Polygon reports that the Personalization Pack promo can be purchased by PowerUp Rewards members, and will include additional weapon camo, reticle, patch, player card, and background.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is out for $59.99 with a launch date of November 4.
