Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Story Trailer Details Plot While Activision Releases Special Editions
Claims of "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" being the game changer for the COD franchise has been going on since the game was first revealed. It used to be that this was due to the fact that developer Sledgehammer Games has been hard at work for three years.
But it appears that the game can speak for itself, as the new story trailer reveals quite a leap in terms of graphics and story plot.
Forbes points out a nice touch that "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" seems to be going for, at least in this new trailer: examining power and politics, through what's almost a blockbuster presentation.
If the final version of the game is done right, "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" may feature more than just a futuristic setting and exoskeletons as its major selling point-it may bring out one of the best-looking and best-experience for Call of Duty in years.
Activision Announced Special Editions for 'COD: Advanced Warfare'
With the release date for "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" getting closer, Activision has announced some collector's edition packages for its latest take on a futuristic warfare shooter title.
Obtaining a press release from Activision, Joystiq reports that there are three special editions expected for the title. The Atlas Limited Edition features digital and physical content including the collectible SteelBook, a soldier manual titled "Welcome to Atlas: Advanced Soldier Manual," the bonus multiplayer map Atlas Gorge, the Atlas Digital Content Pack and various digital content like a themed exoskeleton, weapons and more.
The Atlas Pro Edition features all of the content, both digital and physical, from the Atlas Limited Edition, plus the "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Season Pass." This will give players access to the four DLC maps.
The Atlas Digital Pro Edition will have all the digital content of the Atlas Pro Edition, in addition to the Atlas Digital Edition Personalization Pack, though details for this last offer have not been revealed.
The Atlas Limited Edition will be out for $79.99, the Atlas Pro Edition for $119.99 and the Atlas Digital Pro Edition for $99.99.
Activision has also teased an August 11 event, where there would be a worldwide reveal for the "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" multiplayer, alongside new maps, weapons and modes.
