Calvin Harris Reveals His 'Pet Name' For Girlfriend Taylor Swift On Social Media

Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift have yet to verbally confirm the status of their relationship, although both have proven through social media that they are dating. They have also revealed each other’s pet names with Harris recently tweeting what he calls his girlfriend.

The DJ had called his new girlfriend Taylor Swift “my girl” on his Twitter page. According to U.K.’s Now Magazine, this is what Calvin Harris uses as an “adorable pet name” for Taylor. Calvin called the “Shake It Off” singer with the nickname when he praised her for her courageous act of speaking up for other artists concerning Apple’s free music streaming.

Taylor Swift had written an open letter to Apple on her Tumblr page on Sunday morning, calling for the unfair decision of the company not to pay the artists during the three-month duration of free music streaming. The singer’s letter apparently had a great impact on the tech giant since after hours of negotiation, it had reverted on its decision. Apple will reportedly now pay every artist whose music will be included when Apple Music is released on June 30.

The “Blank Space” singer had also previously revealed what she calls her new boyfriend Calvin Harris. According to Hello Daily News, Taylor Swift calls the DJ “one of her ‘favourite people.’” Apparently, this is what the singer described her boyfriend on a photo she posted on Twitter on June 9.

"I took a photo of my favourite people -- they were laughing so hard, the lens couldn't capture it fast enough," Taylor captioned the black and white blurry photo. In it Calvin Harris could be seen laughing together with two of Taylor’s close friends, Gigi Hadid and Karlie Kloss. The trio were standing in a kitchen, which according to the publication could have been at Taylor Swift’s New York apartment.

The same photo was shared by Hadid on her Instagram page on June 9 to celebrate National Best Friends Day. The model had captioned the image, “There's not a picture that could fit in everyone that I appreciate, but this post is dedicated to all the friends that light up my life- you know who you are. I'm the luckiiesssttttt #nationalbestfriendsday.”
