'Captain America: Civil War': Another 'Avengers' Character To Appear In The Movie
A new character from the recent “Avengers” movie will be appearing in “Captain America: Civil War.” The upcoming movie will see a host of superhero characters that will be bigger than what the fans have seen in the 2014 movie from the franchise. [Spoiler Alert!]
Scarlet Witch, played by Elizabeth Olsen, will appear in “Captain America Civil War.” The actress confirmed the news at a Meet the Filmmakers event at the Regent Street Apple Store in London, according to a report by E Online. The character was first introduced in “Avengers: Age of Ultron.”
The main powers of Scarlett Witch include influencing the minds of her victims and manipulating energy. “My character has a very creative way of moving, like dancers. We choreographed to make it really dynamic,” the actress said. It is still unclear whether she will be joined by her twin brother Quicksilver in the upcoming movie.
Marvel Studious has so far not confirmed the return of Scarlet Witch in “Captain America: Civil War,” but Elizabeth Olsen has stated that she will begin filming her scenes for the upcoming movie in two weeks in Atlanta. The character may have to choose between Tony Stark and Steve Rogers in the upcoming movie.
The main plot in the upcoming movie will be about how a difference of opinion on a new government regulation will lead to a split in the superhero community and force the superheroes to choose sides. Tony Stark and Steve Rogers will emerge as the two leaders of their respective factions.
“Captain America: Civil War” will also be introducing a new superhero character called Black Panther, also known as T’Challa. The role will be played by Chadwick Boseman, and the actor will be seen reprising this role in a solo movie of the character in 2018.
Some of the other characters that the fans will get to see in “Captain America: Civil War” are Baron Zemo, Crossbones and Bucky Barnes. Some of the major characters in the movie include Tony Stark, Steve Rogers, Hawkeye and Natasha Romanoff. The movie is slated to be released on April 29, 2016 in Australia, UK and New Zealand. The release date of the movie in the U.S. is set for May 6.
