Robert Downey Jr. continues to tease Chris Evans about the impending conflict between the characters they play in “Captain America: Civil War.” The actor has posted a collection of images of him kissing other Hollywood celebrities or being kissed by them on his official Facebook page. Chris has so far not responded to such images.

Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans will be reprising their roles as Tony Stark and Steve Rogers respectively in “Captain America: Civil War.” Robert Downey Jr. has posted an image of Hollywood celebrities kissing him on his Facebook page and marked Chris with the words “Let the war begin, Evans.”

The image shows Hollywood celebrities like Val Kilmer, Ben Stiller and Zach Galifianakis. There is also an image of an angry looking Chris Evans, towards the end. Perhaps Robert Downey Jr. was hinting at the jealousy Steve Rogers will feel when he sees all of Tony Stark’s friends and allies in the upcoming movie.

“Captain America: Civil War” will be featuring two factions of superheroes, each led by Tony Stark and Chris Evans. The bone of contention between the two characters is a government law that requires all superheroes to reveal their real identity and register themselves with the government. The act will be aimed at ensuring greater scrutiny of superhero activity.

The major reason for the government to come up with the law is the rise of a very powerful enemy in “Avengers: Age of Ultron.” The main enemy in the movie is an artificial intelligence that gains consciousness after Tony Stark attempts to revive a dormant peacekeeping program.

The previous “Avengers” movie had featured several scenes where Steve Rogers and Tony Stark argued with each other, revealing how fragile the alliance is. It was the death of a major character in the movie that galvanised them to put aside their differences and work together with a common purpose.

Fans of the franchise are eagerly waiting to see who will emerge victorious in “Captain America: Civil War.” The movie is slated to be released on April 29, 2016 in the UK and on May 6 in the U.S. The producers have so far not revealed the release date information of the upcoming movie in Australia.
