‘Castle’ star Nathan Fillion talks about his man crushes
"Castle" actor Nathan Fillion recently talked about his man crushes in Hollywood that include "Sherlock" actor Benedict Cumberbatch.
When The Advocate asked him about his man crush, Fillion, who plays best-selling author, Rick Castle, on ABC's series "Castle," said that he has a man crush on Cumberbatch, Renner and Cooper.
“ Umm, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jeremy Renner, Bradley Cooper. Who else do I think is really great? Both of the Wilson brothers. Who else? There was somebody I was just watching the other day and they were amazing…, ” he said, adding, “Tom Hiddleston! Tom Hiddleston! That was the one! Did I mention him?”
When asked whether he often gets ‘hit on’ by gay male fans, the actor said that some ‘flirt’every now and then. "I don’t get hit on often by any fans. A flirt now and again. But I have had some very nice compliments from gay male fans, yes,” he said.
Speaking about playing a superhero in a Marvel film, "Castle" actor said, “I think all the really great heroes have been taken. And they’ve really done some wonderful jobs with goofy heroes. When 'Ant-Man' came out I thought, this is really a lower-rung hero for comics."
"That movie was spectacular. But I would certainly think that for every superhero out there, there’s gotta be at least 50 villains. I think I’d like to take a crack. All the heroes are out there. Give me a villain,” he added.
Recently, it was reported that Fillion is dating Krista Allen, the former lover of George Clooney. The couple is reportedly having a great time together.
