Cesc Fabregas’ Commitment Issues Against Sergio Ramos In Spain
Cesc Fabregas is furious at Sergio Ramos for airing to the media that he lacks the commitment to play in the national team. The duo were at it for allegations raised by Ramos that he is not that committed to play in the national team as opposed to playing for Chelsea. There is nothing that boils his blood more than having a team mate or fellow player question his resolve to play for the national team.
This little scuffle started when fans of the midfielder failed to satisfy his home countries insatiable fans. Fabregas does admit that he has played the best of his football years in Chelsea but is looking to apply his skills in the national team. This preference for playing in the national team has however been misunderstood by Ramos as a lack of commitment to Chelsea. This can be referenced to the 2-1 Premier League win they had over Liverpool and to that of Costa before they were about to become a part of Madrid's squad.
Accordingly, Fabregas said that there was no preference in this regard. He further stated that Ramos can call him on the phone to discuss matters involving the football club and the team and that there was no need to air such content to the media about what he said. He is as committed to play the game as he was before and this was even further motivated knowing that he owes a great deal of his experience to Chelsea.
Fabregas was groomed at the La Masia Academy in Barca in the game of football, but the overwhelming demand of the fans for his playability remained unsatisfied. This spurred frustration among the team and the fans causing them to question the player's commitment.
The midfielder prefers to settle things on the field and although the two claim that they have long ended their argument regarding the matter, there is still a looming problem regarding the performance of Fabregas and how he can turn tables in favour to his fans. However, the two insisted that they have put all their personal commitment issues to bed.
