Charlie Sheen is reportedly having a hard time finding himself and his entourage a place to stay at the Big Apple for his scheduled live show in April.

According to Exposay.com, big and high-class hotels had refused to accommodate the embattled actor including the Waldorf-Astoria and the Trump Soho.

Citing a report from the New York Post newspaper, Exposay.com said that the actor, who will be at New York City for his post-“Men” live show series, had been turned down by hotels reportedly ‘to avoid drama’.

"Many of the big New York hotels don't want the drama. He is now looking at renting a private residence," an unnamed source was quoted telling the New York Post, according to Exposay.com.

The source explained that the NY hotels are avoiding the repeat of the incident at NY Plaza last year. The former actor for “Two and a Half Men’ was reported smashing up at his hotel room forcing his panicking porn star companion to call for hotel security.

But a source close to the actor downplayed the reported ‘hotel ban’ and insisted that the accommodation problems stem from the ‘personal requirements’ that the hotels are unable to allow him with.

The source said, “The real issue is finding him a hotel that allows smoking. He has to be able to smoke”.

The unnamed source added that aside from Sheen’s personal requirements, no hotels could provide rooms for a 30-member-entourage that Sheen had plans on taking with him for the NY live show.

"And it's hard to find a place that will accommodate him, plus his entourage that will be more than 30, including the lighting people and of course the goddesses," the source said, according to Exposay.com.

Sheen’s ‘big surprise’ finding a place at the Big Apple has prompted his group to scout for a ‘private resident’.

The “Men” actor is scheduled to perform on stage on April 8 for stage show, called “Violent Torpedo of Truth’.
