Controversial actor, Charlie Sheen may likely get his job back at CBS “Two and a Half Men” after almost two weeks since he was officially fired from US television hit series on March 7.

Quoting a report from NBC news, Reuters said that executive officials of CBS have been holding meetings cooking up plans to have the embattled actor back on air.

The NBC news reports had emphasized however, that no deal has been struck as of yet that would clearly determine the future of America’s most-watched television show.

Reuters also cited the report by RadarOnline.com that quoted unnamed sources saying that CBS chief executive Les Moonves has been on the move to get “Two and a Half Men” on the air.

Radaronline.com said, according to Reuters that Moonves had also reportedly talked to another CBS honcho, producer and co-creator Chuck Lorre, who has been the target of Sheen’s personal attacks since the third week of February.

According to Reuters, CBS and Warner Bros. Television refused to give any reaction to the reported talks and Charlie Sheen’s spokesman said ‘he had no comment on the various reports’.

The actor who has been busy preparing for his live show in April has also been rumored to meeting executive officials of Fox network.

Citing the report by The Hollywood Reporter, Reuters noted that Sheen had left a ‘cryptic message on Twitter account over the weekend’ saying: “..perhaps a new lair…? A Fox and a Warlock? Epic..” Sheen’s message said Reuters was highlighted more by a picture of a Fox television logo.

Charlie Sheen has made the headlines since late January when he was brought to the hospital on January 24. A report by IBTimes quoted his then publicist Stan Rosenfield as saying that he was suffering from hernia.

But as days went on following his confinement at a Los Angeles hospital, rumors have reverberatingly come out indicating that the actor was in fact hospitalized due to drugs and alcohol.

The actor was last seen in the 36-hour party binge before he was rushed to the hospital.

Though he was bent on coming back to work on February 28 according to a separate report by IBTimes, the plan never pushed through and the actor has since conducting his own media tour, having himself interviewed by big television programs from major television networks in America.

The personal tirades resulted the actor’s official termination from “Two and a Half Men” which then paved the way for a $100-million lawsuit the actor had filed against CBS producer, Chuck Lorre. A feature article by IBTimes has attempted to trace the root of the Charlie Sheen saga in hopes to find out who started the fight between Charlie Sheen and CBS Chuck Lorre.
