Charlie Sheen has come out clean during his tour in Canada and claimed that it was not him but ex-girlfriend, Kelly Preston who shot herself in the 1990 incident.

The actor said during his "Violent Torpedo of Truth" tour in Vancouver, Canada that she was not with Preston when the gun went off.
According to celebdirtylaundry.com, the clarified during the show Monday that he was “downstairs drinking some coffee when he heard gun shots from upstairs”.

The actor recounted that he saw Preston naked and covered in blood lying at the top of the stairs when he came up to check what happened.

In his version of the incident, Charlie said that the gun went off as it hit the floor from the pocket of his pants, which Kelly had picked up in the bathroom.

As the gun fired accidentally, Sheen revealed that it struck the toilet, and the shrapnel or a piece of porcelain from the toilet hit Preston that created the wound.

The actor underscored in his talk that he knew then that he would be blamed for the incident. Why wouldn’t he? First, why would there be a gun the house and recklessly kept in the pocket lying on the floor and second, his subsequent split from Preston shortly after the incident. The couple even broke off their engagement after the 1990 shooting incident.

Preston has remained mum about the 1990 incident. And TMZ noted that no statement has been released by the actress’s camp since Sheen’s recent revelation.

Preston, who married Travolta after her split from Charlie, is also the few persons to come out in Charlie’s defense in March when the actor was officially fired from “Two and a Half Men”.
