Supermodel Chrissy Teigen was spotted with a baby bump just a day after announcing her pregnancy. Teigen took to Instagram to announce the happy news. The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model married American singer and songwriter John Legend at Lake Como in Italy on Sept. 14, 2013.

"John and I are so happy to announce that we are pregnant :) As many of you know, we've been trying to have a baby for a while now. It hasn't been easy, but we kept trying because we can't wait to bring our first child into the world and grow our family," Teigen posted on her Instagram account.

She added that they are both excited that their plans of expanding their family are really happening. The Instagram post included a photo of Teigen lying on a couch while Legend is sitting beside her. Legend's hand is placed on her baby bump. The model thanked everyone for their well wishes and love.

The baby news came as a delightful surprise because Teigen was just discussing fertility issues with Tyra Banks on her daytime talk show FABlife earlier in September. The supermodel said that she's always been asked about it during interviews, especially because she has been married to Legend for two years.

Mrs. Legend also revealed during the show that she and her husband have seen fertility doctors because they were facing issues trying to get pregnant. She thanked her fans on Twitter for supporting and encouraging her during tough times.

However, Teigen surprised her fans recently with her pregnancy announcement. Her little baby bump was evident when she walked the red carpet at the La Mer Celebrates 50 event. The 29-year-old model sported a white dress with spaghetti straps at the event. The pregnancy glow was seen on her face as she posed for the shutterbugs.

Legend and Teigen met on the set of his music video for the song “Stereo.” Teigen was cast as Legend’s love interest in the video. She's also seen in the music video for Legend's hit track "All of Me," which he wrote for her.
