Some of Apple's default applications are better than those that were made by others. Due to the intensity of competition in the app industry, there are many alternatives. Many developers are constantly raising the bar of what iPhones are capable of doing.

Business Insider and Tech Radar counts down some of the best apps third party providers made better than Apple:

Chrome

Google Chrome has a clean design, voice search, and users can open an unlimited number of tabs. It syncs your bookmarks and favorites across all your devices with the browser. It is also said to be able to save up to 50% of data usage when you use Chrome.

Gmail

According to Tech Radar, the Gmail App offers users full power over their accounts. It also gives them the convenience of only logging once. While the native app may give access to the emails, those who has Gmail play a major role in their life will not be satisfied. The Gmail app, on other hand allows users to archive, label and star their emails to manage the flow of their messages better.

Spotify

The top streaming application, with its large music library that syncs across all devices may be able to replace the iPhone's default Music app. There are all sorts of genre's and playlists that are customizable, and users can download music for offline listening through Spotify Premium.
