CNBC retail reporter Courtney Reagan's surprise on-set wedding proposal video has reportedly gone viral on YouTube! Since being uploaded on Nov. 4, 2013, the video has been viewed by 294,512 people with 235 of them liking it. And, the numbers are growing each day!

Courtney Reagan, a CNBC retail reporter, was busy going about her usual duties in front of the camera while taping her segment on the CNBC set. Reagan was reporting about holiday shopping, which included a topic on shopping for engagement rings. Then, she got the surprise of her life as she was giving tips on where to get the best deals for engagement rings during the holiday season. Suddenly her boyfriend, Jared Baker, a hedge fund analyst, pops out of nowhere and asks her to marry him!

Reagan was shocked beyond belief when she realized why Baker was there in the first place. She choked back tears as she listened to her boyfriend of seven years profess his undying love to her, with her colleagues in the same room. But, when Baker went down on his knee and finally asked Reagan to marry him, she couldn't suppress her tears anymore and she started crying as she said "Yes!"

The timing of events seemed like a coincidence especially because Reagan was reporting about engagement rings to begin with. But, it was actually premeditated. Baker planned the whole thing and the engagement ring report was just a ploy to set the proposal in motion and get Reagan in the perfect situation to be proposed marriage to.

Her followers on Twitter congratulated her upon learning of the marriage proposal which was caught on tape. Check out a tweet below, which includes Reagan's sincere thank you and a bit of explanation about the proposal on the CNBC set.

.@lilkaraokediva @RedEyeFNC thanks! it wasn't live, it was just a taping, so it actually was never on-air...until now I guess?!
