Confirmed Galaxy Note 3 Specs on Release Date: 2.3GHz Quad-Core CPU, 2.5GB of RAM & 1080p Screen Resolution
Samsung is unleashing a beast in the Galaxy Note 3, according to newly-leaked specs of the third-gen phablet, giving it a very high benchmark score that exceeds that of the Asian tech giant's previous flagships.
Thanks to @evleaks, Samsung fans got a glimpse of the incredible power that is packed with the second Sammy 2013 flagship, BGR said in a report. Based on AnTuTu tests, the Note 3 muscled up to a score of 24,497.
The report, however, did not mention the exact Note 3 edition that was benchmarked. It should be noted that the device will roll out in at least two variants - powered by an 8-core Exynos Octa chip or a Snapdragon 800 CPU.
Possibly using the same processing chip mix, the Galaxy S4 scored 21,000 shortly after its March 2013 debut, underscoring the fact that Samsung is delivering more punches with its stylus-wielding phablet.
Going to Twitter, @evleaks also revealed that the Note 3's monster powerhouse CPU is paired with a generous RAM provision at 2.5GB or 500MB more that Samsung has installed on the GS4.
The tweet confirmed as well that its huge screen is beaming out images and clips in 1920 x 1080 resolution though the display panel dimension was not mentioned. However, earlier reports have suggested that consumers will get a 5.7-inch device.
Also, leaked images pointed to a near-GS4 look, with the thinner bezels surrounding the screen and the wider screen as some of the few differences. A new concept supported this take.
Other rumours indicate too that the handset will be initially available in black, white and pink with its body still made of polycarbonate plastic on back and edges and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on front face.
These solid details are flowing out as Samsung is all set to launch the Note 3 on Sept 4 via its Unpacked Episode 2 event, with the company using the 2013 IFA gadget convention as the platform. It is also understood that the activities in Berlin will be streamed real time in New York and worldwide via the Samsung Mobile YouTube channel.
The actual Galaxy Note 3 release date is expected to happen in the United Kingdom, courtesy of Three UK, with the rest of the world to follow shortly.
