Finally! Owners of the Samsung Galaxy S3 are going to receive the official Android 4.3 firmware update in October 2013 after delays have spread anxiety. At the same time, users of the Galaxy S4 are also getting Android 4.3 Jelly Bean on the same month.

Samsung Confirmed Android 4.3 Jelly Bean Update

SamMobile got the heads up regarding Android 4.3 Jelly Bean firmware arriving on Galaxy S3 and Galaxy S4. After the announcement of the Galaxy Note 3 and the Galaxy Gear at the IFA 2013 event, Samsung confirmed that the official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update is coming to Galaxy S3 and Galaxy S4 in October 2013. However, the company didn't state when exactly in October, so the update happening at the end of the month is a possibility.

Definitely good news for Galaxy S3 owners which can now relax as the update is coming very soon. The only thing they need to do is simply wait for a month or two as updates are being pushed in phases. This confirmation also affirmed the October-November release date rumours spreading before about Galaxy S3's next update - now coming true.

Unfortunately, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 was not included in the confirmation of any Android 4.2.2 or Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update. According to SamMobile, Samsung said nothing about the previous flagship Note's next official update. The Galaxy Note 3 is owned by lots of users and holds a large phablet market till today which glooms owners knowing that no update has been confirmed.
