Japanese tech company Sony suspended the sales of its recently released Xperia Tablet S. Surprisingly, some consumers are still waiting to purchase the device after the company fixed all the issues.

Sony also received praised for its previous devices released last year, Tablet S and P. The devices were claimed to have innovative design, they had underlying issues that made them Android devices that were far from perfect.

Sony has had to suspend the sales of its Xperia Tablet S due to a hardware defect that allows water to go in its apparently water resistant body. The defect is essentially a gap in the front panel with the display that makes it extremely easy for the tablet to sustain water damage.

So far, the popular Japanese company has sold around a 100,000 units of the Xperia Tablet S. The company has not yet announced any date for resuming the sales of the Xperia Tablet.
