Corsair Hydro GFX GTX 1080 Ti launches: Liquid cooled graphics card is dead quiet and fast
Corsair has launched the new Hydro GFX GTX 1080 Ti. The all-in-one graphics card combines the robust gaming motor of Nvidia’s most advanced GeForce GPU with Corsair’s Hydro Series liquid cooling and magnetic levitation airflow to ensure maximum performance, higher clock speeds, cooler temperatures and quiet productivity. It’s now available to order at Corsair’s official online store.
The Hydro GFX GTX 1080 Ti was developed in collaboration with MSI’s graphics squad. It’s driven by the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti and packs 11 GB of GDDR5X memory, 3,584 CUDA Cores and a huge 352-bit memory bus. That kind of power combined with a 1,506 MHz in-house overclocked GPU core frequency, a 1,620 MHz boost frequency and an 11,124 MHz memory frequency, today’s most graphic-intensive games and resource-heavy apps should have no problem running at ultra-high settings and peak frame rates in formidable 4K resolution.
The GPU is fortified with a Corsair Hydro Series H55 liquid cooler, so any heat produced is ably directed away by a micro-fin copper base to a 120 mm radiator rather than build up internally. The Hydro
In order to cool down its blazing GeForce GPU, the memory maker and PC hardware manufacturer handpicked the ML120 LED, its cutting-edge 120 mm cooling fan that harnesses magnetic levitation technology and actually suspends the blade away from the motor while performing. This way, friction and fan noise are considerably reduced despite the full load. The Hydro GFX GTX 1080 Ti’s cooling can also be adjusted to anybody’s liking thanks to 4-pin PWM fan control and a 400 to 2,400 RPM range.
The Corsair Hydro GFX GTX 1080 Ti all-in-one graphics card is exclusively available at the company’s official web store to customers in the US, the UK and Germany. It carries a US$799 (AU$1,060) price tag and comes with a two-year warranty.
