Sweet Moments Shared By the BAU Team

But Criminal Minds Season 9 Episode 7 is not without its sweet and fun moments, surprising as they may be in a show that's bound to disturb the living daylights out of you.

Dr. Spencer Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler) is the hero of the day as he not only resorts to a witty tactic to apprehend the unsub, but also helps the mother give birth to her baby, giving yet another reason he's the boy genius of the team.

This time, David Rossi (Joe Mantegna) is faced with the closing down of his favorite bar since his marine days, but at least it ends with a very melodic bang as the BAU team spends the last few minutes of the show enjoying each other's company and singing along in the karaoke.

The quintet that takes up the stage for the ending scene include Reid, Derek Morgan (Shemar Moore), Penelop Garcia (Kristen Vangsness), JJ Jareau (AJ Cook), and Rossi.

These fun moments for the BAU team are noticeably becoming a mainstay in every Criminal Minds episode, and it's a welcome affair. Although an interesting thing that's starting to become amiss is that Criminal Minds Season 9 is an AJ episode, but there haven't been a lot of hints about her past.

Esai Morales, the new section chief Matt Cruz, has yet to make another appearance since his debut episode. A lot more can be expected of Criminal Minds Season 9 in terms of character and origin stories, with the anticipated one about Garcia's life before he got into the BAU team.
