The “Most Memorable Year” on “Dancing With The Stars” Week 4 brought a lot of emotion in the judges and the audience. There were tears of sadness as well as joy as the 10 dancing pairs started off with their routine, paying tribute to the most memorable experience of their life. This routine is not new to Season 20 it is a part and parcel every season, according to ET! Online.

The tear-jerking week witnessed lots of sad memories. Noah Galloway recalled the time when he got injured during his service in the army, the physical and emotional recovery that followed. All this he did with a broken tooth. The army vet broke his teeth during rehearsals when his partner Sharna Burgess accidentally hurt him. Michael Sam performed an emotional dance number portraying the time his father disowned him. Robert Herjavec gave a tearful tribute to his mom who died of cancer. Rumer Willis recalled years of bullying due to growing up in the spotlight and Suzanne Somers honoured John Ritter’s untimely death.

In spite of Michael’s power-packed performance with the judges getting teary eyed, it didn’t help the footballer to remain in the competition. He and pro partner Peta Murgatroyd were eliminated even though they notched up 30 points. Willow and her pro partner walked away with the highest score of the night with 39. She recalled the time when she was cast in “The Hunger Games”. She and Mark incorporated the murder sequence into the dance. Their score was the highest one this season so far. Rumer’s emotional dance had the judges in tears.

Nastia Liukin and Derek Hough’s Argentine tango was very impressive and one of the best dances of the season. Carrie Ann Inaba said, Nastia was “doing pommel horse” all over Derek. Patti LaBelle did a mix of 1920s flapper style and New Orleans Mardi Gras which had the crowd cheering. The singer and actress enjoyed her dance and had lots of fun, besides showing technical skill in her dance. Riker Lynch and Allison Holker donned shiny red outfits and danced on the backdrop of black and white checkerboard walls.
