‘Dancing With The Stars’: Willow Shields Says Co-star Jennifer Lawrence Is Excited On Her Dancing Debut [WATCH VIDEO]
“Hunger Games” star Willow Shields told that her o-star from the movie was very excited. She said that Jennifer Lawrence couldn’t believe that she was dancing and told her that she would be very scared to do what Willow was doing, according to E Online. The 14-year-old actress along with her pro partner Mark Ballas danced their fire and ice themed Paso Doble.
She set the ballroom on fire with her performance on “Dancing With The Stars” Week 3. The dancing duo scored eight across the board and a total of 32, the third highest score of the night. All this she scored with an injured wrist and rib issues. In the video clip shown before the dance, Shields was seen in tears. The footage showed the youngest contestant of the dance reality show reaching her breaking point during the practice session and suffering a few pretty bad falls.
The teenager showed maturity beyond her years in her power-packed performance with Ballas that swept the audience. Julianne Hough said that she has shown improvement every week and advised her that only the slow and steady win the race and asked her to keep up her good work. Bruno Tonioli was overwhelmed with the dance. “My little Mockingjay is catching fire! I love it, because you’re getting the taste of the competition,” he said adding that now Willow was learning to become a dancer.
After the show got over, Willow told backstage that she was slightly scared as she was not feeling well. But talking about her performance she told that she enjoyed doing it and it was great. The star added that she loves getting into the moment and going for it. Mark meanwhile told that in order to address her wrist and rib issues so that she could dance without any pain, they gave her time in the ice pool.
The teenager in her maiden blog in Access Hollywood informed that during rehearsals, she fell on Mark’s knees and her ribs started to hurt. But that was the time Willow realised that she wanted to win the mirror ball trophy. She went to a chiropractor who popped her misplaced rib back in place and she felt better. Tune in to ABC at 8 pm on Monday to see the show.
