Demi Lovato Deactivates Twitter Account
Demi Lovato is giving her Twitter account a break and her 5.6 million followers aren't happy about it.
The 19-year old singer definitely had a fall back in 2010 when she struggled through heartaches, eating disorders and getting into rehab. Yet in 2011, Demi proved she had what it takes to rise from the rough and her stars are still shining as bright this 2012.
Just recently, the former Disney star won the award for Favorite Pop Artist at the People's Choice Awards. Apart from getting up on stage to receive her award, Lovato also performed on stage in a stunning low cut red dress.
Apparently things are going great for the singer then why would she go on a social networking break? Though there aren't any more reports that she's having troubles with her boyfriend, Wilmer Valderrama, the singer still decided to shut down her famous Twitter account.
Despite the controversial tweets, what pushed Demi to deactivate her Twitter account and leave her 5.6 million followers in the dark?
On January 21, the singer first sent out a tweet that inadvertently pointed out she could have had a fight with another Twitter user.
"Can't please everyone," says the first tweet sent out by the singer earlier that day.
It was then followed up by a tweet that caused her Twitter followers to go on a Twitter-frenzy-rally.
"Twitter break. It's for the best actually. Who allows me to have this thing anyways?!!! I just get myself in trouble! Haha. Anyway... BYE!" says the second and final tweet of the singer.
Though her tweets were anything but trouble, Demi should try using an old fashion journal if she ever gets the need to rant.
It's been two days after her announcement and the singer has not updated her account so far which only means Demi stayed true to her words and has indeed taken a break from her tweeting.
Her fans who have been continuously been updated with the singer should probably look for another option to stay connected to their Favorite Pop Artist of 2012.
