With December now already here, Bungie has detailed what’s to come with the month’s update for “Destiny.” To prepare fans for the inevitable, the developer has listed some new details about the Hard mode and weapon tuning for the game.

In the latest Weekly Update for “Destiny,” the upcoming “Harder” mode has been teased for the update. This makes the King’s Fall more challenging for fans who have been killing Oryx time and again. According to Bungie’s Lead Raid Designer Gavin Irby, players can identify the new weekly challenge by the skull displayed beside the Raid in the Director.

This will be more challenging in the sense that players will have to defeat the bosses for the challenges in a specific manner. It also appears that Bungie will leave the discovery of how to beat them to players.

Both the weapons and the exotics will be seeing some fine tunings for the “Destiny” December update, Among these are the newly found The First Curse, Hawkmoon, The Chaperone, Fabian Strategy, Black Spindle and the Sleeper Simulant.

The latter, especially, has been in the radar of “Destiny” players. Part of the “Destiny” December update will address the inventory feedback that players have voiced out about the Sleeper Simulant. What this means is that the inventory ammo has been buffed from seven to nine and the ammo swap exploit has been removed. The Sleeper Simulant no longer converts one ammo from another different heavy weapon to a full inventory.

For players who have been encountering the Caterpillar errors, Bungie has also acknowledged the problem. The developer is currently investigating the issue for a fix, Softpedia reported.

Many players are reportedly affected by the bug, rendering the title unplayable. What happens when “Destiny” is affected by the Caterpillar error is that the players are required to restart any activity or the actual game to progress. Bungie has told fans to be on standby for nay updates, but to date, there is still no word on a fix for the Caterpillar error.

While waiting for the fix, there are still a couple of things on sale that “Destiny” fans can avail of over at the Bungie Store. The Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales are still in full swing, bringing 25 percent discounts to items including shirts, artbooks, calendars and more. Best to take advantage of these, while the developer continues work on fixing the current bug plaguing “Destiny.”
