With Black Friday already here, "Destiny' developer is also riding the bandwagon of sales for fans. In a recent announcement made by community manager David DeeJ Dague over at the official website, he announced that Bungie is holding a Black Friday 2014 Sale.

The sale features a 20% discount storewide. This means that you can use the promo code "BlackFriday" at checkout from today until Dec. 1 to get into gear with the holiday. From accessories and apparel, it's about time you also dress up Guardians-style in light of this sale season. Check out everything that will be on sale over at the Bungie store here.

In the same update, Bungie has also boosted its free trail for "Destiny," which will basically let players create characters and progress them until Level 7, see the five story mission that are held in Old Russia, access the Tower and Tower vendors, and even go on a co-op Strike with three players in The Devil's Lair. The progress can be carried over if players choose to buy the full game.

Those playing using the Xbox One can access the trial via the Xbox One dashboard, and DeeJ has already updated that the incidents where players have received a "Trial Expired" message should now be resolved. The good thing here is that the trial will continue over the Thanksgiving weekend, as the developer already has a team monitoring the servers and possible issues that gamers may encounter. For now, interested gamers who want to try a piece of "Destiny" action should check out this comprehensive FAQ.

As far as Bungie's future plans for "Destiny" with the upcoming expansion "The Dark Below" and beyond, Bungie COO Pete Parsons talked to Games Industry Biz about a quick recap on the journey that has been "Destiny" so far. After the title launched with mixed reviews at best, it felt as if there has been a stone wall between "Destiny" and some players because of this.

Parsons says that "Destiny" is something that needs to be experienced yourself, and not one that should be decided by the reception and review of other people. This may be due to how reaching the level cap is not the end but rather a beginning of a new dimension in "Destiny" gaming.

Even now, the developer continues to roll out events, activities and new weapons time and again. Over at Reddit, a "Destiny" player has spotted a tweet from DeeJ on the comeback of JuJu and other exotic buffs before Dec. 9, to which the community manager responded with a simple "Yes."

"We also left a lot open because once players got the game in their hands, we learned a lot. In a way that we expected, we knew that we were going to have to change our plans from the moment the game went live," said Parsons to Games Industry Biz.

There's still a lot coming to "Destiny," especially with the release date of "The Dark Below" coming up. Hopefully, this will gear up more Guardians and fans to continue enjoying the game, which has been planned to have a 10-year run.
