With the new "Destiny" update already out, it appears that developer Bungie didn't detail all there is to see in the patch, because there are a number of hidden items and information that will carry over once December rolls in with "The Dark Below" DLC. A very hardworking Redditor has compiled a list of the known added activities and features coming with the update. These have been neatly compiled with particular emphasis on the new quests, new activity types, new exotic items and multiplayer additions.

"The new 'Destiny' update brings new stuff to the database! This includes 35 new activities, seven new activity types and around 230 new items!" said Redditor sgtfrankieboy.

Some of the interesting additions are the new exotic items, which include the 347 Vesta Dynasty scout rifle, two new shotgun types, namely the Sweet Business and Lord of Wolves, and the new chests, the Starfire Protocol and the Purifier Robots. The helmets, gauntlets and boots are the items that have a lot of variations and additions.

There's also the addition of new activity types, which sees the hardcore version of a game type. Particularly, Control, Salvage, Rumble, Clash and Skirmish will all have an Inferno game type. There will also be a quest that's like a story mission and the Iron Banner.

Lastly, Redditor sgtfrankieboy also discovered that there will be a new vendor called the Eris Morn. According to the Redditor, Eris Morn is from the faction Crota's Bane, and it is said that Eris is the one working in the shadows when it comes to facing Crota. Check out the long list of additions coming to "Destiny" as fans wait for the DLC to land.

In lieu of the return of the Iron Banner, developer Bungie has set it upon themselves to compete in the games that they had designed themselves. The developer announced via the official Bungie blog that they will be fighting as a Fireteam, with members of the development team competing as well.

Given that the Fireteam has the advantage of knowing what to expect in the game, the battle can be watched via Bungie's Twitch channel. According to the developer, this can be seen as a tutorial, where players may need to get accustomed to the new updates coming. There is also the bonus of defeating the Fireteam of developers, which could be a badge of glory in itself. The expectation here is that to get the rare loot, players need to be the best because the rarest emblem is up for grabs for those who win.
