DLC Alert: Saints Row 4 DLC Plan, a PS3 Patch for MLB 13 & Borderlands 2 B&B DLC [TRAILER]
Volition seems to have a master plan for its upcoming Saints Row4 game, extending future plans to include DLCs. Borderlands 2 is also on a roll, as it announces another DLC, this time featuring an interesting game (within the game!) and a new character in the mix.
And PS3 players should get ready for a massive fix for the MLB 13: The Show.
MLB 13: The Show gets a 167mb patch fix
A 167mb patch fix feels too heavy a load for your PS3, but players of MLB 13: The Show who have been experiencing a lot of difficulties with the game can rest assured, because the patch brings with it a myriad of fixes.
The list of fixes stretches out to include general fixes involving hitches in the games, online game rooms, weekly challenges, and offline gameplay, art changes, and server fixes for tweets and reset for playoff games.
Long story short, the overall user experience gets a massive improvement worthy of the fix.
Bunkers and Badasses introduces Tiny Tina-don't be fooled
While Krieg the Psycho has just had his own DLC, it seems that Borderlands 2 is not yet down with expansions, now bringing in Tiny Tina into the mix.
First teased at developer Gearbox's PAX East 2013 panel, a Bunkers and Badasses expansion is reported to be in the works, according to Polygon.
Watch the Bunkers and Badasses Single Player DLC tease, which was also shown at the PAX East 2013. Here you'll see the literal game of B&B, with Tiny Tina taking the lead. It seems like a stretch from Borderlands 2's core game, but it seems like a humorous and refreshing one.
No other details have been announced yet, or where exactly the expansion will be going, but considering the introduction of the new character, you be the judge.
Saints Row 4: The plan for tons of DLCs
Enter the Dominatrix, a project that began as a DLC for Saints Row: The Third, has been scrapped to bring a lot more (emphasis on a lot here) for players.
According to GameRant, the team for the DLC expansion had merged with the team working with the Saints Row 4, and may now serve as a director's cut version.
"We had to go in and totally gut the [Dominatrix] story for Saints Row 4. Everyone on the team had the same concern, we didn't want to make a 3.5, we aren't making an expansion pack," said Steve Jaros, creator of Saints Row, to Game Rant. "What we put out to the world has to be worthy of the name Saints Row 4."
However, aside from the core game, it seems that developer Volition is also slating towards a lot of DLC content for the yet to be released game, comparing it to be more than the 40-weeks of DLC content that had been devoted to Saints Row: The Third.
VG24/7 reports that there may be more open world content, exploration missions that will take you in, and the ability to port characters over from the previous Saints Row games.
