This week, DLC expansions for three games have already been announced. Star Wars: The Old Republic gets its first DLC after its year-long debut, Borderlands 2 gets an even more psycho playable character, and Eve Online brings space exploration to the 19th level with its 19th expansion pack.

Borderlands 2 gets a psycho

This May, you can look forward to the sixth playable character in Borderlands 2, with its Psycho Pack.

The new character, Krieg, is another trigger-happy (or is it slashing-happy?) character that literally puts the name Psycho back on the table.

Krieg Psycho has multiple personalities and is armed with an axe after his escape. GameSpot reports that the character has a three skill trees, Bloodlust, Manila, and Hellborn.

According to Escapist Magazine, Bloodlust lets you stack combat bonuses, experience the edge of sanity at Mania, and play with elemental attacks in Hellborn (guess which element you'll be playing with).

Developer Gearbox also prepared The Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade pack, arriving on April 2 at $4.99 for those who don't want to start with the new character. Or you can play with Krieg this May at $9.99 for the Psycho Pack.

Star Wars: The Old Republic to rise again with DLC

Fans who have been waiting for more than a year for anything involving Star Wars; The Old Republic will be happy to learn that its first DLC is up for release on April 14,with pre-orders being accepted as early as April 9.

According to CNet, there's a new planet to explore and a more expansive story to pursue for Rise of the Hutt Cartel, even though it picks up from where the original story left.

You'll also go on a quest into the galaxy, take part in a new Operation (Scum and Villainy) wherein you'll be infiltrating and double-dealing.

The only gripe that one can have is that, according to Massively, you'll be experiencing any new content once you hit the maximum level. Bt other than that, your $10 spent for the DLC will be put to good use, if only because you'll get to spend 10 hours on it.

Eve Online's 19th expansion by June

If space exploration is your thing, then Eve Online's latest expansion, its 19th, in fact, is slated for release on June 4.

You'd have better graphics and UI as you try and discover the secrets that lie beyond the horizon. Or power different spaceships, some of which have received redesigns.

"Odyssey is an expression of our love for space and exploration," said Andie Nordgren, Eve senior producer, to EuroGamer. "It brings changes that will wake the wanderlust and taste for adventure in the new and veteran pilots."
