If you weren't able to catch the April 1 Xbox Live Sale, there are still two free DLCs for two hit games that are up for grabs at Xbox Live.

Plus, there's also a recently released DLC for Painkiller: Hell and Damnation and Forza Horizon's Top Gear for some zombie riots and some automobile fun.

2 Free DLCs from 2 big games

Free is always a very inviting add-on to your game, but what if it's a free DLC pack for two of the hottest games for the week?

Halo 4 has just released its Forge Island map pack that's completely free and available for download on Xbox Live. Plus, it's an early treat for fans, as the original date for release was April 11.

According to Venture Beat, the DLC allows you to create your own based on the flat plateaus as your playground.

Gears of War: Judgment is also featuring a free release for its Haven DLC pack that's not available on Xbox Live. However, GameSpot reports that the Haven pack will only be free for a limited time, so it's best to get your downloads while it's still fun on the budget.

As an added bonus, players can also get the special playlists for Haven and Execution, the multiplayer mode available for Gears of War: Judgment to get an experience boost of 200%.

Painkiller: Hell and Damnation's third DLC

The actual game's release for consoles may have been delayed, but there's something worth noting as the third DLC for Painkiller: Hell and Damnation is now available for download.

Polygon reports that the DLC pack can now be purchased on Steam for $6.99, and as a single-player map, a multiplayer map, and a new boss fight.

You're also looking at updated air strikes, rocket launchers, new weapons, Zeppelin firebombs and zombie troops.

Forza Horizon's Top Gear

Six new cars await as the Forza Horizon DLC pack gets release on April 2.

According to Games.com, the six cars include a customizable 2011 Fort Transit SuperSportVan, a car based on an unsold BMW called the 2002 BMW M3-GTR, a 2011 Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale Zagato mashup, a 1998 Mercede- Benz AMG Mercedes CLK GTR, a 2012 Ashton Martin Vanquish, and a 2012 Bowler EXR S.
