DLC News: Injustice: Gods Among Us 4th DLC Revealed & Killer Instinct Gets Pay-Before-Play for Other Characters
Before fans can even fully enjoy the Scorpion DLC, the third DLC character of Injustice: Gods Among Us, Ed Boon and company has revealed the fourth character in an exclusive scoop.
That's right, the final character for the first Season Pass is General Zod. Although Comic Vine reports that there may be another character planned to be released on the Season Pass. General Zod is set for download on July for both PS3 and Xbox 360.
"Yes, General Zod is the 4th DLC character in INJUSTICE!! Next week we are releasing a game-play video that demonstrates unique moves!" said Ed Boon, creative head of NetherRealm Studios, in his Twitter account.

Killer Instinct: free-to-play, buy the characters
It's nice to see the next-gen games slowly adapting the PC's free-to-play model, with Xbox One exhibiting its prowess with Killer Instinct.
One letdown in the game is that of all the playable characters in the game, it seems that only one will be made immediately available for free in the game, which is Jago, a character who looks like a cross between a pro wrestler and a ninja.
The rest of the characters can be bought and downloaded as DLC packs. According to Eurogamer, this decision by Microsoft is really hinged at a sound decision.
"Fighting games are big and expensive, and they can be complicated. It's very hard to get good at a number of characters. You generally gravitate towards one or two or three characters at the most," said Torin Rettig, game producer, to Eurogamer.
"We want players to be able to experience the game that way. Just buy the characters you want or buy them all, and we'll give you a discount on that."
The upside here is that you can customize your game and characters instead of shelling out the usual $60 for the full set, which will have all the characters that you may or may not use all at once. This is one way to start off with a free-to-play, though adding another character or two at the get-go would have been even better.
As for the pricing, not much as yet been revealed, but with competitive pricing being hinted upon by Microsoft, it might not be that hard to collect a lot of characters.
