‘Dragon Age Inquisition’ GOTY Edition detailed as BioWare releases Blackwall character kit
“Dragon Age: Inquisition” is coming out with a Game of the Year Edition. While this may be exciting news to fans, it should be noted that Electronic Arts’ announcement comes with a catch. The GOTY edition on disc will not contain the bonus content.
However, fans need not worry as they will still get the bonus content. This will be accessible via a download code, PC Gamer reported. The official “Dragon Age” Twitter account has announced that the bonus content includes DLCs for “Dragon Age: Inquisition.”
BioWare has not yet announced if the download code is different for each expansion, as there are a total of three major expansions, one extra expansion with the Deluxe Edition and two packs, Spoils of the Avvar and Spoils of the Qunari.
In any case, the GOTY edition of “Dragon Age: Inquisition” does have a lot of features. It will have the story and gameplay content and other official add-ons. The “Dragon Age: Inquisition” GOTY edition is set to launch on Oct. 6. There is a physical and digital edition, set for a $60 price point.
In related “Dragon Age: Inquisition” news, BioWare has rolled out another character set kit following the last one for Solas. This time, it’s for Blackwall, the Grey Warden of “Dragon Age: Inquisition.” Blackwall’s design features the Grey Warden Warrior armour, a shield similar to the griffon wing, a pauldron and gauntlets for battles, announced the developer over the BioWare Blog.
The Blackwall character set features the front and back look of the characters, as well as detailed designs for the head, shoulder, chest, gauntlet, sword and shield. BioWare’s character set kits are the developer’s way of giving fans who are in the creative industry and hobby a helping hand in creating their own cosplays, character sketches and designs based on “Dragon Age: Inquisition” characters.
Character set kits are a way for fans to recreate their favourite characters and bring them to life in different character creations. Other “Dragon Age: Inquisition” character set kits that fans can already access online include Cassandra and Varric, Cullen, Dorian, Iron Bull, Morrigan, Sera, Vivienne, Solas, Leliana, Josephine and Cole.
