'Dragon Age Inquisition' Character Creation Tool

Sept 29, Monday, at 10 a.m. PDT/7 p.m. CEST BioWare will stream the very first look of the new character creation tool on "Dragon Age Inquisition." The video streaming will demonstrate the character creation of an Inquisitor from scratch to let players see what can be expected upon the official release.

In addition to the demonstration of the new character creation tool, Creative Director Mike Laidlaw and BioWare Producer Cameron Lee also invite fans to watch the gameplay demo and never-before-seen areas of the game to be explored via video streaming. It is available via Twitch and interested viewers can click here to visit the site.

Final Resolution Still Unknown

Final resolution of "Dragon Age Inquisition" for Sony PlayStation 4 remains unknown at this time. According to an interview with PlayStation Lifestyle, BioWare Producer Cameron Lee still cannot determine the final resolution on all platforms compatible with the game.

"I'll give you a roundabout answer, which basically means I can't answer it, but the truth is that although we are only a few weeks away from starting to put our first candidates up for certification, we still don't really know where we're going to land ... and that'strue across all platforms, really," Lee told the tech website.

NPC Creatures Can Fight Each Other

An interesting gameplay mechanic can take place on "Dragon Age Inquisition" that never happened on previous game titles—NPC creatures battling each other. On an interview with PlayStation Lifestyle, BioWare Producer Cameron Lee said players can expect random encounters where NPC creatures are fighting rather than attacking the playable-controlled characters only.

Certain events such as giants fighting a dragon or bandits attacking merchants can now be seen inside the game similar to the dynamic world of "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim." Bethesda's implementation on "Skyrim" features random encounters such as hunters attacking wild animals or loose undead.

On "Dragon Age Inquisition," this dynamic effect is generated by the World Master system to populate the world with different content types and can be affected by the choices and decisions made by the player. "Dragon Age Inquisition" is out on Nov 18 for several platforms including Windows PCs and Xbox One.
