‘Driveclub’ content update bringing new tracks, features and customised items
"Driveclub" developer Evolution Studios will add more content to the game in 2016. The developer has teased some screenshots of the new track for “DriveClub” on the official Twitter account affirming the game will also get some additional features such as the ability to choose weather conditions, road types and other racing environments.
Based on a few screenshots shared by Evolution Studios, 2016 DLC will add several new options including paved city streets and tracks for off-road driving. Players will also get options to choose night and daytime races. The 2016 DLC will also bring new weather conditions to choose from. From classy city streets and rough circuits to some of the traditional race tracks, the next update for “Driveclub” will offer more challenging environments to players in 2016.
“Driveclub” fans have started speculating about the locations of tracks teased by the developer. Replies from fans suggest that the most popular theories for potential locations are spinning around the probability of tracks set in France, Tokyo, Italy and more. The developer, Evolution Studios, as well as the publisher Sony has not revealed information on this as a part of upcoming DLC but the game director Paul Rustchynsky has made an announcement via Twitter that suggests a special gift from the developer is coming on the PlayStation Store. Again, the developer has not revealed what is inside the Christmas gift, but the announcement suggests that the “Driveclub” gift will not take more than a week to hit the PS Store.
The PlayStation 4 exclusive “Driveclub” had a rocky start that had delays in release and several glitches post-launch. Gamespot reported that the release of “Driveclub” was pushed many times and players had a terrible experience with the game due to broken online components after its release.
Nevertheless, Evolution Studios has been fixing the issues and working hard to improve the user experience to develop a better image in the eyes of fans who show continued support. “Driveclub” has received several new content updates including the free and paid ones. Now, the game also supports the PlayStation VR platform.
