English Premier League giant Manchester United and Liverpool are keen on signing teenage sensation Ryan Gauld from Dundee United.

Scouts from Anfield and Old Trafford alike were impressed with the youngster, who is dubbed as "Mini Messi," after dishing out four assists on Saturday in his team's 4-1 domination over Partick Thistle in the Scottish Premier League.

Gauld, 17, was slick, attracting and breaking down the defense with his superb dribbling skills, which freed up his teammates to score goals.

Spanish powerhouse Real Madrid are also reported to have gained interest in the attacking midfielder, who was placed with a £6million price tag, according to The Mirror.

Previously, Red Devils boss David Moyes was reported to have sent out a scout to observe Gauld, as he made his under-21 debut for Scotland that went against Georgia.

English sides Everton and Newcastle United have also sent scouts to the said game.

The Scot has netted 5 goals along with 5 assists in eleven appearances in all competitions for the Terrors in the ongoing 2013/14 campaign.
