If Princess Diana were here, she would have secured a spot at the Queen Diamond Jubilee jamboree celebration alongside the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton. Both of them having good taste in fashion and a kind heart to the children, would they have been allies or rivals?

During an interview with Katie Couric in part of the celebration of her grandmother's jubilee, Prince William openly talked about how he misses her mother, Princess Diana, more so on his wedding day with Kate Middleton.

"I'm just sad she's never going to get a chance to meet Kate," William tells.

If circumstances were different and Diana was still here, would she have loved her son's wife? Or would she see her as a threat? Not in fashion alone but in other things as well.

Kate Middleton is 30 and Diana would have been 51, an elegant 51-year-old without a doubt. While Kate is praised by her smart fashion choices, Diana was known for he bold attempts. Cameras would have snapped away, comparing the two in every tabloid and online magazine.

Diana could have lived and easily got away being compared fashion wise but there was one thing Diana might have been envious about the younger woman. That the Duchess of Cambridge has the kind of love she had always wanted. And that love, she will not doubt because it is from her son Prince William.

"I'm just very keen to have a family, and both Catherine and I, you know, are looking forward to having a family in the future," William said adoringly in his interview.

"I think she had the best seat in the house, probably. But yeah, she would have loved to have been there; she would have loved Kate," Prince Harry confidently said that Princess Diana would have loved daughter-in-law Kate Middleton.
