Dungeon Crawler 'Enchanted Cave 2' Comes To iOS And Android
Video game fans looking for a good dungeon crawl are in luck as “The Enchanted Cave 2” is now available for iOS and Android devices. “Enchanted Cave 2” is a sequel to a very successful flash game created by Dustin Auxier, who then started work on the sequel as a full-fledged mobile game after managing a successful Kickstarter campaign.
Fans of the genre will find many familiar staples of that type of game in “Enchanted Cave 2” as noted by Pocket Gamer. Players will be able to gather loot while exploring numerous levels of a dungeon while also taking on monsters and building up the stats of the character.
What fans of said genre will appreciate, however, is the fairly extensive skill tree that will be in the game. Players will not have to limit themselves to being a sword fighter or a magician, as the skill tree will allow players to play the way they want to and customise the character to their type of style.
Game developer Dustin Auxer also revealed more details about the game through a forum in Tig Source. Apparently, “The Enchanted Cave 2” will feature many rogue-like elements such as a randomly generated dungeon with more than a hundred floors to its name.
Auxer also commented on the combat system, which relies more on picking fights than partaking in them. The developer explained that the battle system is automatic, with the player and the monster instantly fighting until their health runs out. However, fights have to be started by the player, as the monsters are stationary, so it is up to him or her if the possible loot from the monster they choose to fight is worth it.
The always-popular crafting system is also slated to be part of the game, as it will allow players to craft items and armour instead of having to spend gold in the twon store. Players will also be able to enchant their weapons to certain magical elements as a way to make them stronger.
Anyone interested in the game will be happy to know that “The Enchanted Cave 2” is available now. More information about the game or its predecessor can be found in the official site of Dustin Auxer.
