Dungeons & Dragons has finally been confirmed for release for the iOS, while NetherRealm has been rumored to be working on the iOS port for Injustice: Gods Among Us.

A week after its release, Unmechanical has been garnering acclaim for its iOS version, which is said to have a very user-friendly gameplay despite transferring to the iOS platform.

Dungeons & Dragons

After the partnership between Wizards of the Coast and Playdek has been sealed, it was only a matter of time before Dungeons & Dragons headed to the iOS.

According to TechCrunch, there will finally be an official licensed title for the iOS, slated for release this year.

This is the second time that talk of Wizards of the Coast game have been laid on the table, even before any partnerships with Playdek has been sealed. However, none of the games have been so far released as iOS versions.

The partnership is the hopeful bet that Dungeons & Dragons will see the light of the App Store.

Injustice: Gods Among Us

Though the console versions are slated for release this April, talks about an iOS version has already hit the GDC 2013.

According to Computer and Video Games, it seems that the iOS version is going to have an in-house development as well as the use of Unreal Engine 3, similar to how Batman: Arkham City Lockdown was developed.

Official confirmation about the iOS version is still needed from NetherRealm and Warner Bros.

Unmechanical: One of the best iOS game so far

Pushing a game from the PC to the iOS platform is not always met with great review, but this wasn't the case with Unmechanical. And it's even more amazing when indie developers hit this kind of jackpot.

Geek.com reports that what makes Unmechanical even more of a great iOS game is that, while it has been celebrated in the PC, it was also able to transfer its gameplay in a seamless manner from D-Pad to touchpad. If anything, it even made it more accessible and easy to maneuver.

"The feedback from fans and critics following the PC release has been great, and while it took some time, it feels awesome to finally have the iOS version finished. We're more than happy to share our passion-project with iOS players!" said project lead Marko Permanto said to GameConnect.

Unmechanical is already available for the iOS since its release last week.
