EA releases interactive storybook app for Alice: Madness Returns
Fans of the upcoming game Alice: Madness Returns won't have to wait until June 14 to wet their appetites on Alice. EA has released an interactive storybook for Alice:Madness Returns that rewards users who can complete it $10 off for the full game.
Madness Returns is a sequel to American Mc Gee's Alice, a creepy look at the Lewis Caroll story which pits the player as Alice in a demented version of Wonderland. The third person action game was released for the PC back in 2000 and told the story of Alice who has lost her mind in an insane asylum. The sequel returns the player as Alice as she explore the twisted and creepy vista of Wonderland and battling enemies with her Vorpal blade.
The interactive app will tell the lost years of Alice in Rutledge Asylum. The prequel story bridges the gap between the two games. Players brave enough to download the app will have to answer creepy asylum tests through interactive animations. Players will also be able to collect Wonderland treasures and even use their iPhone and iPads smile recognition to grin like the Cheshire Cat.
Best of all, the app is completely free. Players can get a discount on the game by playing a free app. The app can be downloaded in the Apple store. So if you're a fan and you have time to kill head over to the Apple store and revisit this most curious version of Wonderland.
Alice: Madness Returns will be released for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 on June 14, 2011.
