Earbits Radio: App Review
Here we are with another awesome and new application on android platform. This new App is basically meant to play online music from over 350 genre-based channels with no commercials or in-app ads. The whole new free concept is a very nice and very well planned that may take off the basic music player app from your android smartphone. This app also gives us an option to add on SD card music to the Application which can be played with the songs being streamed online. It’s free to use and even allows you to earn in-app currency by supporting artists, which you can redeem for rewards.
Talking about the interface of the App. It is very clean and simple and no complex to any other app on android. Navigation is a bit confusing and the interface is lacking in features that users in today’s age of curation find essential. Using the app’s four tabs, you can browse through channels recommended to you, look at all the channels on Earbits’ network, check out artists from both your device storage as well as those you’ve favorited (marked with an Earbits icon) and look up your own account to check your in-app currency and configure how Earbits will mix music for you.
This awesome App has over more than 350n Music Genre channels which allows us to scroll and browse music according to genres according to name or even the length of the song. When it scans your music, it seems to group artists into its own vocabulary of genres so it can mix content from your device and the Earbits network correctly. You'll find a mix of indie as well as mainstream artists on every channel - but mostly indie.
The free App has more than 50,000 Downloads over in 3 days. Google Claims that the app is compatible with my Nexus S.
Also the Groovies is the other not so famous thing but is the new concept and will be hopefully adopted by all Apps for coming future as without the integration of apps as its the best way to earn without applying in apps Ads.
"One way we've done that is with GrooviesTM, the first social currency designed to let users pay for streaming music by taking actions that give value back to artists and record labels." Reads the description of the App on Google Play.
One can always term it as one of the must have apps in his count down list as it offers hell lot of features which are out of stock yet and that too free in an ad free version !:)
